We are seeing a continuation of the declining trend; the number of sold houses continues to go down and so are the sale prices.
However: when we look at the year by year numbers, we can still see an overall increase in sale price percentages.
For example: In the Niagara Region as a whole, the number of sales have gone down by 50.7% for the month of June 2022, compared to June 2021.
The average sale price however, is still climbing, with 9.9% for the month of June 2022, compared to June 2021 for the entire Niagara Region.
Although sale prices are still going up, compared to last month, this percentage seems to be decreasing.
