September in Niagara usually means one thing: It’s Niagara Grape and Wine Festival Season!

This amazing time of celebration and joy has had to make some big changes.

COVID-19 has resulted in the cancellation of some of the usual events – and the re-imagining of others. We can still enjoy many of the main attractions of the festival in new and creative ways while still following local and provincial government guidelines. Combine that with the creativity of the Niagara Grape and Wine Fall Festival organizers, and the joyous celebration goes on!

If we could only participate in one thing during Niagara Grape and Wine Festival, it would be either “The Parade” or The Centre Stage surrounded by local winery and food booths. BOTH have new formats this year.

The CENTRE STAGE Saturday night performances will not be held in Montebello Park, as they have in the past. Instead they will go virtual September 19th and 26th, with a few local establishments live streaming the performances.

The Grape and Wine Festival Grand Parade has been cancelled for this year but organizers have come up with something fun and unique!! The MERIDIAN PORCH PARADE will take place Saturday September 26th. It is quite an interesting format as outlined on the Niagara Grape and Wine 2020 Fall Festival website.

Celebrate all that Niagara Wine Country has to offer over the next few weeks and have fun while STAYING SAFE!!

We would love to hear what you, your family and friends are doing this year to celebrate Niagara Grape and Wine.

Please comment and let us know!!
