Elayne and I began working together in 2000. She initially handled my Website maintenance but not takes care of the Website, my blog, my SEO (Search Engine Optimization), mailings, and other projects as they come up.

Elayne and her family are avid boaters and spend every possible minute on their Silverton 402 in the Georgian Bay area. Elayne and her husband, Tim, curl, golf and and spend most of their spare time running around after their three boys.

About Terri McCallum…

terri.jpgAfter spending the first eight years of her life as an “air force brat” in a number of cities in Ontario, Quebec (where she was born) and Moses Lake, Washington, Terri’s family decided to settle back in her dad’s hometown of St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada (five minutes from the famous Port Dalhousie). She’s been here ever since and doesn’t plan to leave until they plant her six-feet under. She loves the Niagara region, the weather, the wine and the people!

Terri’s been a realtor since 1984 and became a broker in 1989. She’s worked with the same company, which has gone through three name changes (Rusty Kruty Realty, Kruty Realty Better Homes and Gardens®, and now Royal Le Page Niagara Real Estate Centre, Brokerage at the Lakeport Office). She loves her office!

Terri has a passion for golf (although it doesn’t always love her, as evidenced by her scores) and plays on the Ladies Business League at Sawmill and at various courses in the Niagara Peninsula. She’s a 10-pin bowler at Fairview Lanes in St. Catharines during the winter season. She’s acted as chair for several years for the Niagara Association of Realtors Charity Golf Tournament and likes to support other charities by playing in their tournaments. Currently, Terri chairs the Discipline Committee and has received the President’s Award for Outstanding Performance and Contribution to The Niagara Association of Realtors twice.

Terri has been a part of The Salisbury Team since 2005. Her primary role is to take care of out of town clients and local buyers. She’s been successful as a realtor for many years and enjoys working under a team concept. Terri feels that the day-to-day contact with the other team members, along with our weekly meetings, are a great avenue to learn and grow professionally, individually and together.

About Jim Gifford…

Jim was born and raised on a large farm near Quebec City, but lived in the Niagara Region since he turned 18. In 1970, he was employed by Canadian Tire Acceptance in Welland where he held several jobs and eventually progressed to the position of Personnel Director. Working closely with people has always been his passion, which is the reason he joined the real estate field in 1989. He particularly enjoyed introducing his out of town clients to the Niagara region.

His role on The Salisbury Team is helping buyers that are searching for country properties, farms and high-end homes. His country upbringing is particularly helpful in this area.

In his free time, he enjoys traveling (mainly to the Caribbean), skiing in Ellicottville, and golf (which he’s not really that good at).

Should you have any questions concerning high-end properties or country homes, you can can contact Jim at jim@timothysalisbury.com.

About Karl Regier…

Karl was born and raised in Niagara on the Lake and worked on his neighbors’ fruit farm every summer, for ten years. He attended (and, hard to believe, but he graduated) Brock University with a BSM (Bachelor of of Sport Management), thinking he wanted to be the next great sports agent. While in his first two years at Brock, he worked at the Shaw Festival as the Food and Beverage Manager. He realized he needed a change and golf had always been a passion since he started playing at 16. He began working at Legends on the Niagara golf course, helping to build the course by cutting the tees and greens at 5:00 a.m. every morning. He soon realized that wasn’t for him either. He then started working at Boston Pizza as their bartender and had a GREAT time. Instead of going to work at 5:00 a.m., he was coming home at that time. This was not the life he wanted either.

He had purchased an investment property from his parents when he was at the university. He enjoyed the process and working with people, so he decided to give real estate a try. He bought his current home the day he graduated from Brock University and it has been an ongoing renovation since. Buying an 80-year-old home may seem like fun, but it can be a LONG process. The experience has helped him look at the mechanics of a home when helping clients look for their first home, dream home, investment property, or that perfect fixer-upper.

hazzard.jpgHis dog, Hazzard, keeps him busy when he’s not working and also, a baby daughter, Olivia, who was born on April 29, 2009.  Still, golf always seems to fit into Karl’s schedule. Karl is a member of the St. Catharines Golf and Country Club and enjoys playing golf with me since I never beat him! He enjoys traveling, sports and having a good time.

His key role on The Salisbury Team is to help investors understand the process as well as the good, the bad and the ugly of being a landlord and to make sure they are having a good time while doing it.

Should you have any questions regarding the investment process or about being a landlord, don’t hesitate to contact him at karl@timothysalisbury.com. FYI…He has seen just about every investment/student rental property listed presently around Brock University and The Pen Centre and keeps himself updated on a daily basis.
