Welland: Victoria Day will be celebrated with a big bang - fireworks, music and family fun. Celebrations will be held Sunday, May 17, at the sports complex on Quaker Rd., starting at 4 p.m.

The City of Welland and North Welland Business Improvement Area have partnered for the all-ages event. For youngsters, the Stars of Pop teen icon tribute band will feature music by The Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus and Hillary Duff at 5 p.m. The group will be followed at 7:30 p.m. by tribute group Rumours, which performs Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks classics.   Fireworks are set to go off at 10 p.m. set to classic rock tunes. The best seating to enjoy the display is in the stands.  The rain date for fireworks is May 18 at dusk.

Niagara Falls:  May 18th at 10:00 and every Friday, Sunday and holiday over the Falls. Come to Queen Victoria Park to the Illumination Stage across from the Falls for free Coca-Cola Concerts at 8:00 p.m. on Fridays and Sundays followed by Pizza Pizza Fireworks at 10:00 p.m.  Plus Bonus Shows (fireworks only): Every Wednesday in July & August and every Friday from September 11 - October 9, 2009.
